This will serve as a summary of our Pre-Activities for the YCLPDP official opening day.
To maximize our effort and ensure we obtain our goal of having a minimum of 25 students enrolled in this course we thought it expendient to actively recruit University of Dschang Student from various disciplines to join us in our Inaugural Independent Study Course which offers 3 credit hours transferrable worldwide.
Professor Jean Romain Kouesso, Head of Department of African Studies and Globalization in conjunction with Professor Anita M. Diop, Executive Director of the African Roots and Heritage Foundation planned meetings around the campus to recruit students for the YCLPDP- Youth Cultural Language preservation Discovery Program. It is the first of it's kind to offer field research and data collection consentrating on primary source interviewing techniques.
